1:1, 3:2, 4:3, 5:4… the standard formats to capture your moments. In the analogue era, you had to decide in advance which one you wanted to use. In the digital world, cropping and trimming has become the measure of things, which prevents photographers from learning how to compose. For cinematographers, landscape sets the tone, that is, an image format of 16 wide by 9 high (somehow 16 high by 9 wide doesn’t work, although I see almost everyone holding their smartphone this way and therefore wrong, also for video). But this can also work very well for stills and I don’t mean panoramic photos.
1:1, 3:2, 4:3, 5:4… i formati standard per catturare i tuoi momenti. Nell’era analogica, bisognava decidere in anticipo quale strumento utilizzare.
